Interim Management

Interim Manager for Market Entry

A managing director on demand or a lean local representation, for companies from the DACH region, Asia and Serbia

Market entry rarely fails because of the strategy. It fails in execution on the ground: authorities, recruiting, culture, and the question of who actually carries responsibility in the first months. That is precisely the role I take on as an embedded interim manager on the ground, whether in Serbia, Switzerland or another target market.

Interim Mandates

Three Routes to Market Entry

Embedded leadership, not advice from the outside

Strategic Leadership Interim

Temporary placement in C-level or senior management roles during vacancies, handovers, or restructurings.

  • CEO, COO, and General Management mandates
  • Switzerland and Serbia as primary geography
  • Discreet, available at short notice, results-driven

Cross-Border Expansion Lead

Bridging market entry between Europe (CH/RS) and Asia: strategically, operationally, culturally.

  • Asian companies entering Europe via Switzerland or Serbia
  • European expansion into Asia (Japan, Korea, and beyond)
  • Local setup, recruiting, authorities and stakeholders

Interim Representation

A lean local presence at minimal fixed cost while you test the market and have not yet decided on your own entity.

  • Local point of contact and business address
  • Market sounding, first contacts and authorities
  • Minimal fixed costs until you commit

Not a Consultant, Not a Broker: a Managing Director on Demand

For us, ad interim does not mean remote consulting and it does not mean matchmaking. It means an experienced manager, fluent in German, English and Serbian, takes operational charge of your market entry in Serbia, with a mandate, responsibility and presence on the ground.

This closes a gap that classic service providers leave open. Law firms incorporate the company, consultants deliver the concept, recruiters look for candidates. But no one runs the business in the critical early phase. That is exactly my role.

From Market Entry to Running Operations

As an interim country manager I accompany your entry into Serbia from the first location decision to ongoing operations: site scouting, incorporating the d.o.o., building the local structure, recruiting the first employees, and managing authorities and partners.

Once the business stands, I hand over to a local team, or stay on board as long as the mandate requires. Employees and families you bring in from DACH or Asia are taken care of through our relocation services.

The Bridge Between DACH, Asia and Serbia

Serbia attracts investors from China, Japan and South Korea just as much as from the German-speaking region. Those operating across two business cultures need someone who understands both sides.

With Swiss precision, experience across European and Asian business cultures and a foothold in Serbia, I take on mandates that sit exactly at this intersection.
